CAROL IS CATCHING UP ....

Hi Carol - I'm sorry it took me so long to post these but better late than never, huh? Well done on two outstanding LO's - you are certainly chasing hot on our heels ... love the frames ...
Carol's Bom No. 2
This is how Carol got her name ...
As my mother’s name was “Caroline Margaret”, I assume
that I inherited the name “Carol” from her as a shortened
form of “Caroline”.

My mother usually called me “Carrie” or “Carrie-Ann”,
But when I was in trouble, it was Carol! Her term of
endearment for me was “Lamb”.

According to the books, CAROL means:
Gender: Feminine & Masculine
Usage: English
Pronounced: KER-el, KAR-el
Short form of CAROLINE. It was formerly a masculine
name, derived from CAROLUS. The name can also be given
in reference to the English vocabulary word which means
“song” or “hymn”

And ANN means:
Gender: Feminine
Usage: English
Pronounced: AN
English form of ANNE. In the English-speaking world, both
this spelling and Anne have been used since the Middle Ages,
though Ann became much more popular during the 19th Century.
Carol's Bom No. 3

This is what Carol had to say about the day that she was born ...
THE DAY I WAS BORN……

I was born on 27th April 1951 at the Convent
hospital on the hill overlooking the town of Ladysmith,
KwaZulu Natal. The doctor in attendance for my birth
was Dr Hoffman (“old Doc Hoffie” as my mom fondly
called him). Other than that, I have no other information.
My oldest brother, Eddie, was 5 at the time and proved to
be a strong supportive brother from the beginning.

THEN I WAS BORN AGAIN !!!

I committed my life to God when I was 20, thus
becoming “Born Again” with the result that I now
have a new life with new, spiritual names. According
to scripture God says I am:

A Born Again Child of God – 1 Pet. 2:3, 9
Loved & saved – Jn 3:16-21
A new creation – 2 Cor. 5:17
Free – Rom 6:22-23
Daughter of the King – 2 Cor. 6:18
A dwelling place for His Holy Spirit – Eph 2:22
A Conqueror – Rom 8:28-39
An Ambassador – 2 Cor. 5:20
An Overcomer - 1 Jn 5:4,5,11,12,18

And much, much more. I am forever grateful to those
who took the time to pray for my salvation.

You did an awesome job, Carol, THANK YOU!!!
Love,
