We started off with Jayme Shepard. She is so sweet and gracious (about 5 months preggos) ... we did two beautiful projects with her using Making Memories products (their new Flower Patch and Paperie lines - here's a peek at what we got ...)
We created a mini album with the packaging in this class - very, very cute ....
We created two single LO's with Jayme but there is loads of product to turn them into double LO's or to do a couple more single LO's ...
with his Grunge Board (wow) and Distress Inks (yummy) and Paint Dabbers (ooooh) and Stickles (sigh) and Blending Tool (you gotta get yourselves one of these babies) and ... and ... and ... (p.s. I am going to order just about one of everything)
I was really looking forward to this class as I have been watching Tim (stalking probably) on the internet for a while now and I have been fascinated (but daunted) by his amazing talent. His projects look hectically complicated and seriously time and labour-intensive .... BUT I was surprised and thrilled with his Grunge class .... we learnt soooo much and it was easy and so enjoyable and the end result was mind-blowing .... I have not enjoyed a class as much as this ever (and I have attended many classes, girls, including several online classes) ... Thank you, Tim - YOU ROCK!!!!
That was certainly not all we got, girls - we each received one of these cute little eggs at our place setting on arrival ...
and the goodie bags were awesome and loaded with product ...
We even got another kit in the bag of one of Glenda's pages - it's beautiful and perfect for Mother's Day ...
The prizes were OTT - sadly I did not win one of the big ones but every delegate did win a prize with some taking home even 2/3 (you lucky creatures ... tee hee ...) - At the Durban event alone Glenda handed out a Cuttlebug, a Sizzix Big Shot, a Pazzles machine, a Making Memories Slice, AND a Cricut Machine (the BIG DADDY) ... whoa ...
Thank you Glenda and your helpers for an amazing day ... I loved, loved, loved it!!!!!
For those of you who did not attend, you really missed out on a stunning day, my friends, (with that once-in-a-lifetime class with Tim Holtz), BUT the good news is that there will be another Convention at Emperor's Palace in the last week of September so keep watching the Scrapbookex site for info ....
P.S. We have introduced our next Royal Adviser at Scrapatale so pop on over there for a sneak peek at Candice Greenway's latest design ... oooh ... I just looove what she has in store for us ...

I have to agree, Tracy, this was truly the most fabulous day I've had. We were thoroughly spoilt and the product we got was valued at definitely MUCH more than what our ticket price was, plus we learnt SO much!!!!! Was great spending the day with you and catching up with all my fellow scrapbooking peeps! Here's to September!!!!
I was very sad not to be able to make these classes... but I enjoyed the scrap day I did go to. Looks like you had a ball... please show us what you made too.. would love to see the finished items.
TRacy, what more can I say, but this was one of the best I so thoroughly enjoyed my day, as for Timmy, he was da bomb!!!!
Cape Town was just as awesome - except there was no-one to take my pictures for me!! Boo Hoo!!
Did you know there is a conference in Cape Town in Sept/Oct as well - maybe you should come down for that as well??
