BOM LO No. 2 from BELMA

Belma is a good friend of mine who has only been scrapping for a short while. Her son, Cameron, goes to school with Bryce. Belma has amazed me over the last few months with what she has created and even more so now that I see what she is producing for these BOM challenges - well done, Bel!

Here is her journalling ...

History about my Name :

Sybella is of Greek Origin meaning Female Prophet
Pronounced sih BELL ah
Maria is of Hebrew Origin meaning Bitter
Originate from Mary
Pronounced mah REE ah
Maria was the most popular name during 1960’s

As a matter of Fact :

I was called Sibella Maria at birth, after my grandma, SM Leach.
Because of difficulty in pronouncing my name correct my mom gave me a Nick Name. She took BEL from Sibella and MA from Maria and BELMA it was !

To date this is still my call name. I have been called Bella Bok, Bell, Bekkies, Roosknop and Sybel.

My hubby calls me Sybel as a term of endearment !

I was never fond of my birth names but have received so many compliments that I am now proud of it. I know I am special for God only created one of Me ~

I spent the whole day scrapping today - Bryce had cricket practice so I only had to pick him up after 4.00pm. I did not complete my BOM challenge No. 5 - still looking for photos - I know I put them somewhere safe ... does this ring any bells with anybody else? I did, however, complete 4 LO's that have been sitting around waiting for journalling ... feel like I have accomplished much - OK, I only had to write a few lines on each page but I am proud of ME!!

I am off to feed Bryce and once he is in bed, I will post some of my completed LO's.

I had a look at my challenges from Journaling Junkie - am soo excited - have already planned what I am going to do - now to execute my fine ideas ... tee hee ...

Love,

Tracy (deleted my signature AGAIN - grrrrr ....)

Sounds like you have been one busy puppy. I look forward to seeing what you have been busy with.

Wheeeu! I am relieved that I'm not the only one who puts things safely away...& then can't find them :o)

Lovely layout Belma.

I had a day to myself yesterday and almost completed my school days page. Will upload as soon as I have good light to take the photo.

Beatiful layout Belma. The purple and lime combination works well. You have got very interesting names. So glad we have got another active BOMmer in our midst.

Yeah, Mondays suck otherwise so it is truly a treat to scrap on a Monday ...

My stash is put away very safely ... yeah right ... can NEVER find anything I am looking for - evidently my little system is NOT working ... I am only HUMAN I keep telling myself, warts and all ...

Thanks for the messages on behalf of Bel.

Love, Tracy

I'm so pleased to see that I'm not the only one that puts things away "safely" and then drive myself absolutely insane spending hours franticly searching for them!

What a lovely layout Belma, I love the colours you've used.
